@dburr No I agree with you, Apple is far more open to the concept of open source than Microsoft ever will. I just worry that they are doing so more as a tactical decision. "The enemy of mine enemy is my friend" kind of deal. Are they really sincere in their effort or are they doing it as a way to sap Microsoft's marketshare?

That my friend is the power of marketing. With enough money, lawyers and spin doctors even Dr. Mengele can be recast as the tragic hero. Apple is far from being a saintly company and had to adapt in order to survive.

LoL. Honestly I see the Gates vs. Job relationship like two opposing Hannibal Lecters. Blood thirsty and vicious to the core but wrapped in very cordial and respectful facade.

sigh I am afraid that this is going to get a lot worse before it ever gets better. LL has their hands full with this latest scandal and let's not forget the impending investigation of online gambling. I logged in just last night (after a long hiatus) and was appalled at a lot of the changes that have taken place.
